I’m a successful digital nomad who has been travelling full-time for over 4 years, and I’m here to help you do the same. My original plan was to retire early, which I managed at 43 - despite not having a load of money behind me! Quickly realising that actually retirement didn’t suit me (more about that story in this blog post.) Instead, I pivoted and embraced the digital nomad lifestyle, starting as a Tech Virtual Assistant.

Tech is not my background and the learning curve was steep to say the least, but with the help of online videos and an incredible mentor, I totally transformed my life and career. Now, I’m passionate about paying it forward. Whether you’re looking to start your own business, seeking 1:1 mentoring, or wanting to learn how to become a successful digital nomad, I can help you make your dreams a reality.

Here’s the reality

You don’t need as much money as you think to travel successfully. With the right tools and mindset, you can make travel part of your life even on a shoestring budget (boat life, anyone? You don't even need your own boat - more on that later!). I’ve made it work for 4 years while only working part-time! I don't plan to be one of these people who promise untold riches "if you follow my simple guide," but I will teach you how a little bit of work and planning can mean your dreams of location independence are within reach. I won't make any false claims but the reality is I set my own flexible hours, in a job I adore, and I earn over double the rate I used to get in my 9-5.

You can work part-time from your phone, support yourself, and live the digital nomad lifestyle long-term if you desire. I’ve personally done it, and I’m living proof that it’s totally achievable. I’ve been able to not only support myself and my husband, but we’ve also upgraded our floating home! (For those with an interest in boats I know you'll want to know - we've gone from a 1979 Westerly 33 to a 2000 Bavaria Ocean 38.)

Empowering Your Digital Nomad Journey

This is the resource I wish existed when I started my digital nomad journey. Frankly, I’m bored of seeing the same tired and repetitive claims from coaches and experts promising you can scale to a six or seven-figure business just by following their system. Call me sceptical, but let’s be real—if it were that easy, they’d all be running their own six or seven-figure businesses instead of offering you their ‘plan’ for free or next to nothing.

At Wannabe Digital Nomad, I pride myself on offering no-nonsense, totally bullshit-free training and resources for aspiring digital nomads, VA's and Sea Gypsies. Not another coach, but I will mentor you if needed and help you nail down your escape plan! I won’t promise you unrealistic untold riches, but I will show you how I made enough money to fund my travels while working part-time, flexibly, and on my own terms - so I could actually live and enjoy the journey without being tied to my laptop.

I’ll be sharing real, unfiltered insights from my journey to help you break free from the 9–5 grind.
